The spark that seemed to make Fallout 3 such an engrossing experience didn't seem to be present in the latest iteration of the Fallout franchise and the games reputation suffers to this day.ĭespite the lack of enthusiasm for Fallout 4, one thing cannot be denied: the enemy design in the game is magnificent. Although the game featured extremely refined shooting mechanics, an inspired wasteland to explore, and, even in this day and age, an amazing amount of interaction and interactivity with between the player and the game world, players and critics were generally unimpressed.
